Mit as ... as sagen wir, dass zwei Personen oder Dinge in einer Eigenschaft gleich sind. Mit not as ... as sagen wir, dass sie nicht gleich sind. Das Adjektiv steht in der Mitte: as tall as, as easy as, not as fast as. Diese Struktur ist anders als Komparative wie bigger oder more expensive. Sie ist nützlich, wenn Gleichheit oder Unterschied derselben Eigenschaft im Fokus steht.
Wichtige Regeln
- Form: as + adjective + as.
- Verneinung: not as + adjective + as.
- Verwende in dieser Struktur keine Komparativformen wie bigger.
