परिभाषा / व्याख्या
past simple किसी finished past time में पूरी हुई क्रिया बताता है। Present Perfect किसी भूतकाल क्रिया को present connection के साथ बताता है, या तब जब सटीक फइनइसहएड समय न दिया गया हो। यह विरोध महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि दोनों काल-रूप अतीत से जुड़े हैं, लेकिन अलग प्रश्नों का उत्तर देते हैं। Past Simple का प्रश्न है: When did it happen? Present Perfect का प्रश्न है: क्या यह तुम्हारे जीवन में, इस हफ्ते, या अब तक हुआ है?
मुख्य नियम
- फइनइसहएड समय अभिव्यक्तियाँ के साथ past simple उपयोग करें: yesterday, last week, in 2019.
- जब एक्सअकट समय न दिया हो या परिणाम अभी मायने रखता हो, Present Perfect उपयोग करें।
- तुलना करें: I saw him yesterday बनाम I have seen him this week.
- सटओरइएस और टइमएलइनएस में Past Simple उपयोग करें।
- रएकएनट नएवस, एक्सपएरइएनकए, या उनफइनइसहएड पएरइओडस के लिए Present Perfect उपयोग करें।
उदाहरण
- I saw him yesterday, but I have seen him twice this week. - मैंने उसे कल देखा, लेकिन इस हफ्ते दो बार देख चुका/चुकी हूँ।
- She left at six, so I have not spoken to her today. - वह छह बजे चली गई, इसलिए आज मैं उससे बात नहीं कर पाया/पाई हूँ।
- We went there last month, and we have been there many times before. - हम पिछले महीने वहाँ गए, और उससे पहले कई बार जा चुके हैं।
- He broke his phone last night, so he has bought a new one. - उसका फ़ोन कल रात टूट गया, इसलिए उसने नया खरीद लिया है।
- They did not finish the job yesterday, but they have finished it now. - वे कल काम खत्म नहीं कर पाए, लेकिन अब खत्म कर चुके हैं।
सामान्य गलतियाँ
- ❌ I have seen him yesterday. -> ✅ I saw him yesterday.
- ❌ She went to the gym this week. -> ✅ She has gone to the gym this week.
- ❌ We have did it already. -> ✅ We have done it already.
