Future Perfect は、未来のある基準時点までに動作が完了していることを示します。「その時までには終わっている」という結果視点を表すときに有効です。by、before、by the time、by then とよく使われます。 Future Continuous が継続に焦点を当てるのに対し、 Future Perfect は完了に焦点を当てます。計画、締切、進捗、見込みの表現で頻出します。
主要ルール
- 形: will have + past participle。
- 未来のある時点より前に完了することを表す: I will have left by 9.
- 代表的時句: by Friday, by then, before you arrive。
- 「その時点までに終わるか」を表す文脈で使う。
- 単なる未来動作で締切関係がないなら使わない。
例文
- I will have finished the report by Friday. - 金曜日までには、私は報告書を書き終えているでしょう。
- They will have left by noon. - 彼らは正午までには出発しているでしょう。
- By the time you get home, we will have eaten. - あなたが帰宅するころには、私たちは食事を終えているでしょう。
- She will have worked here for ten years next month. - 来月で、彼女はここで 10 年働いたことになります。
- We will not have solved everything by tomorrow. - 明日までに、私たちはすべてを解決し終えてはいないでしょう。
よくある間違い
- ❌ I will finished by Friday. -> ✅ I will have finished by Friday.
- ❌ They will have leave by noon. -> ✅ They will have left by noon.
- ❌ By the time you arrive, we will eat. -> ✅ By the time you arrive, we will have eaten.
