定義 / 解説
Present Continuous は am/is/are + verb-ing で作ります。今起きている行為、今の前後で進行中の行為、一時的な状況に使います。now / right now / today / at the moment などとよく共起します。
主要ルール
- 形: am/is/are + verb-ing。
- 今進行中の行為に使う。
- 一時的状況にも使う。
- 主動詞は -ing 形（work -> working など）。
- 現在時点語と相性が良い。
例文
- I am working now. - 私は今働いています。
- She is studying today. - 彼女は今日勉強しています。
- We are waiting for the bus. - 私たちはバスを待っています。
- The children are playing outside. - 子どもたちは外で遊んでいます。
- My brother is sleeping at the moment. - 私の兄は今ちょうど寝ています。
よくある間違い
- ❌ I work now. -> ✅ I am working now.
- ❌ She is study today. -> ✅ She is studying today.
- ❌ We are wait for the bus. -> ✅ We are waiting for the bus.
