정의 / 설명
time linkers는 두 행동의 시간 관계(전/후/동시)를 나타냅니다. when, before, after, while를 쓰면 시간 흐름이 분명해집니다.
핵심 규칙
- when: 특정 시점 연결
- before: 먼저 일어나는 행동
- after: 나중에 일어나는 행동
- while: 동시 진행
- linker 뒤에는 주어 + 동사의 일반 절을 쓴다.
예문
- Call me when you arrive. - 도착하면 전화해 주세요.
- Wash your hands before you eat. - 먹기 전에 손을 씻으세요.
