Register คือการเลือกไวยากรณ์และคำให้เหมาะกับสถานการณ์ ความสัมพันธ์ และจุดประสงค์ ที่ระดับ C1 ไวยากรณ์เองก็ส่งสัญญาณ register: contractions คำถามตรง และ phrasal verbs มักฟังไม่เป็นทางการกว่า ขณะที่รูปเต็ม สไตล์เชิงนาม และบางโครงสร้าง clause มักทางการกว่า เช่น It's really important that...
