คำจำกัดความ / คำอธิบาย
คำถามที่ใช้ be สร้างต่างจากแบบอื่น โดยทั่วไปเราไม่เติม do หรือ does แต่ย้าย am, is หรือ are มาไว้หน้า Subject นี่คือเหตุผลที่เราพูดว่า Are you ready? และ Is she at home? การเรียนรูปแบบนี้ตั้งแต่ต้นจะช่วยให้ตั้งคำถามในชีวิตประจำวันได้จำนวนมาก
กฎสำคัญ
- ใช้ Am I...?, Is he/she/it...?, Are you/we/they...?
- ในคำถาม yes/no ให้วาง Verb be ไว้หน้า Subject
- คำถามที่ใช้ be ไม่ใช้ do/does
- คำตอบสั้นใช้บ่อย: Yes, I am. / No, she isn't.
- Question words สามารถวางก่อน be ได้: Where is he?
