Imperatives คือรูป Verb ที่ใช้สำหรับคำสั่ง คำแนะนำ คำขอ หรือคำชี้แจง โดยใช้ Verb รูป base form และมักไม่ระบุ Subject เช่น เราพูด Sit down หรือ Open the window ไม่พูด You sit down ส่วนรูปปฏิเสธใช้ don't
กฎสำคัญ
- ใช้ base verb: Sit down. Open the door.
- ใน imperative พื้นฐานไม่ต้องใส่ Subject
- ใช้ please เพื่อให้สุภาพขึ้น
- ใช้ don't + base verb สำหรับ imperative ปฏิเสธ: Don't touch it.
