Because neden verir, so sonuç verir. İki fikir bağlıdır ama yönleri farklıdır. I stayed home because I was ill cümlesi sonuçla başlar sonra nedeni verir. I was ill, so I stayed home cümlesi nedenle başlar sonra sonucu verir. Bu karşıtlığı öğrenmek cümleleri daha net ve mantıklı kurmayı sağlar.
Temel Kurallar
- Because + reason kullanın: I stayed home because I was ill.
- So + result kullanın: I was ill, so I stayed home.
- Because, "Neden?" sorusunu yanıtlar.
- So, "Bunun sonucu ne oldu?" sorusunu yanıtlar.
- Aynı basit kalıpta ikisini birlikte kullanmayın: because..., so... değil.
